Forget “Import Content”: Here is Effortless Copy and Paste!

To make it easier for you to create more content and save time, we recently added the Effortless Copy and Paste feature to the Readz editor. When you create a blank page in Readz, you’ll notice it says “Drop or paste anything here” in the background. This means that you can simply copy and paste content such as text, images, videos, and even scripts directly onto the page, and the editor will automatically recognize the appropriate format and create the element for you. Magic!

Let’s say you want to add a paragraph from a Word document to your Readz page. All you have to do is copy the text from Word and paste it directly onto the canvas using your keyboard shortcuts. The system will automatically create the textbox and place your text in it. From there you can easily style your text using the Styles feature. You can use this same process for other elements as well. Just copy an image or video URL and paste directly onto the page and you are good to go. You can also simply drag an image or multiple images from one of your files, and drop them directly onto the Readz page.

In addition to Effortless Copy and Paste, you can also copy elements you have created and paste them onto other pages throughout your publication. This is a great time saver when you use the same elements on multiple pages, such as logos, or a separator etc. Let’s say you want to copy the size and shape of your logo image that’s on your first page and paste it onto the next one. Simply copy using your keyboard commands, and you’ll see the notification appear that says “copy element.” This lets you know that the system made the copy. Then, just go to the next page and paste.
